Yo! I AM Rigor

• I’m committed for the next week to feel rigor. I’m committed to a strictness, clarity and laser quality about my intention. I’m committed to feeling just how real IT can be.
• I need to wear Intention, be aware and giving of myself for myself. Present.
• I’m willing to pay the price of feeling like there has to be an easier way.
• My payoff will be to stand with a higher standard for myself but in a complete accordance, matter of fact, kind of way. Standing up for myself means taking a stand for you.

It’s going to be a busy week. Normally I would be tired just thinking about it. I am actually tired thinking about it but I realize I MUST love whatever it is I am doing at the moment. Own IT and BE IT. There is no tomorrow.

• I’m committed today to the possibility of being wrong. I’m committed to jumping IN with all intention.
• I need to be CONFIDENT and revel in my POWER as a BEING.
• I’m willing to pay the price of actually getting it wrong and having to correct the inevitable facts of life.
• My payoff will be looking back at the path I did take and taking it for what it is. Realizing nothing is wrong if the intention is clear.

It’s been a nice crisp morning. Walking to the bodega with coffee in hand, I dropped off my Netflix and swung by one of the Spanish diner/bakeries in my hood for their ridiculously large breakfast sandwich.

Looking forward to today.

I had to go into the city to meet my client Alyssa Dineen, drop off assets and an invoice (yahoo!) as well as run a few other errands. It was a little cool but I was loving it as long as I was walking on the sunny site of the street.

While I was downtown around Canal St. and all the Chinatown business that goes on there I was watching the foot traffic. I actually stopped because I was on the phone and found a fairly quiet corner to talk on (yeah right), but then I started to noticed people hanging out in their mini-vans. The door would slide open and just one at a time would exit. I soon realized they were the illegal sidewalk dealers. Asian women walking the sidewalks with laminated printouts of knockoff purses that tourists buy. They huddle around them, point at thumbnails and make a deal!

As I walked on I continued my calls and admired the activity all the way to the SoHo Apple Store to get me a new battery and computer bag.
