Documentary: Man on Wire

Inspiring!

This is an amazing story. I’m not even going to bother trying to explain this movie and the man Philippe Petit it documents. Words only point to the truth and here they would do damage. AI recommend this movie as much as the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes does… 100%!

There was this one moment on the wire between the World Trade towers where Philippe Petit laid down. There is a photo of this moment from the ground. I want a poster size photo of this shot. If you find it, let me know where please.

I Heart Biking the City

I’m new to this tool but had to pass it on as soon as I found out about it. I’ve just messed with the different route options of “safest”, “safe” and “direct”. When I searched the routes from my house in South Williamsburg to a friend in Carroll Gardens I found a .7/miles difference from the safest to the most direct. Interesting too how they tell you about bike shops along the routes. I’m also excited to see how all the new bike lanes are incorporated into the mapping system. For now this is a very simple and direct site.
